You can find me on Twitter and GitHub.
I'm a human being in Lincoln, Nebraska. I have a background in systems programming and have worked in the areas of compiler design, protocol design, embedded device security, and protocol implementation. As a mathematician I'm fascinated by old cryptographic systems. I'm passionate about open government and I previously organized Open Nebraska.
I am currently a technical lead at the University of Nebraska where I get to work with a talented team building low latency software systems for the industrial internet of things. I sometimes blog and have been known to speak at conferences. When I'm not doing that, I'm probably outside running.
If you have any questions or feedback, you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org, I'll try to get back to you within a few days. If you'd like to encrypt your message, my PGP key is available on request.
I don't do freelance work, but I'd be happy to talk about your open-source project or present at your event.
